A multi-faceted leader in film and television production, Carter Boehm studied film and television at Montana State University. He has been the president of Ponderosa Films since founding the Vienna, Virginia-based production company in 2015. He has executive production credits for over a half-dozen films, including the 2017 thriller Broken Ghost, the 2019 drama Robert the Bruce, and the 2022 western Terror on the Prairie. In 2023, Carter Boehm became an executive producer of the western The Unholy Trinity.
The Unholy Trinity was shot at Carter Boehm’s large Montana film studio, Yellowstone Film Ranch. Located in Livingston in the scenic Paradise Valley, this facility features a large backlot with five functional buildings and 19 structural facades to recreate an entire small town or gold rush outpost from the classic American West. Under Mr. Boehm’s oversight, Yellowstone Film Ranch has served as a central filming location for several large Hollywood productions.
